بیانیه گروهی از هموندان شورای مركزی جبهه ملی ایران:

كشتن فرزندان دانشمند یك ملت، جنایت علیه بشریت است

آن ترسوهایی كه مبارزه با سیاست خارجی غلط یك كشور را با كشتن دانشمندان ملت آن كشور انجام می دهند با فرقه های تروریستی همچون القاعده چه تفاوتی دارند؟ آیا هوشمندی آنها هم در همان حد است؟

آنها كه دانشمندان آلمانی را در مصر كشتند، آنها كه دهها دانشمند پاكستانی را كشتند تا پاكستان به بمب اتمی دست نیابد، و آنها كه دهها دانشمند عراقی را كشتند تا به برنامه های تكونولوژیك عراق ضربه بزنند، اكنون دانشمندان ما را هدف گرفته اند.

دانشمندان ما سیاستگذار نیستند، آنها خدمتگذار كشور هستند. آنها مانند هر دانشمند دیگری در هر كجای جهان در راستای دانش و حرفه خود به ملت خود خدمت می كنند. دانشمندان هر كشور، نه تنها ثروت ملی كه ثروت جهانی هستند و باید حرمت اهمیت آنان در جامعه جهانی حفظ شود. همانگونه كه شما موشك اندازی كور را محكوم می كنید، چون مردم بیگناه و بی دفاع را آسیب می زند، و بمب گذاری های تروریستی كه مردم بیگناه را قتل عام می كند محكوم می كنید، چگونه قتل جوانان دانشمند ما را توجیه می كنید؟ مردانگی آنست كه از تاریكخانه خود برون آیید و شمشیرتان را برای جنایتكاران و دشمنان واقعی بشریت بركشید.

ملت ایران با تمدن كهن و انساندوستانه خود همیشه به دوستی و همزیستی با مردم جهان اندیشیده و حتی دشمنان بی تمدن و غارتگر خود را با فرهنگ والای خود رام و متمدن كرده است. شما كه شما ملت ما را هدف گرفته اید بجز نیكی از ملت ایران ندیده اید. شما هر كه هستید، نماینده ملت شریف خود نیستید. به آینده بیاندیشید. شما بخوبی می دانید كه ملت ایران حافظه ای تاریخی دارد و نخواهد توانست این رفتار وحشیانه شما را فراموش كند.

Murdering a Nation’s Scientists

 Is Crime Against Humanity!

The timid whose method of opposing a country’s wrong foreign policy is killing its nation’s scientists are no different from terrorist clans such as al-Qaeda?  But, do they have the same level of intelligence?

Those who murdered all German scientists working in Egypt, killed tens of Pakistani scientists so they do not achieve making atomic bomb, killed tens of Iraqi scientists in order to destroy their technological foundation, are now targeting our scientists.

Our scientists are not policymakers, but technocrats serving their country. They are just like any other scientist anywhere in the world, serving their people through practice of their science and profession. Scientists are not just a national wealth, but a world treasure, and respect for their importance must be recognized and observed.

Just as you condemn blind rocket launching against innocent and defenseless people, and as you condemn terrorist bombings of public places mass murdering innocent people, how on earth can you justify murdering our defenseless young scientists? If you are so righteous and brave, come out of your dark crevices and draw your sword and hit the real criminals against humanity.

Iranian nation is one of the most civilized in the world and with a culture based on humanity, equality and peaceful coexistence with all peoples. Iranian Nation has even tamed the most violent uncivilized barbarians who invaded their country from time to time. And you, of all people, who have targeted us, have never experienced from us but goodness, friendship and support for your people.

Whoever you are, you are not true representative of your noble nation. You know well that Iranians have a long historical memory. Think of the future when our nation could not forgive your violent and inhuman ways.
